The award was created in memory of Judit Moldovan, who introduced green labs and a number of positive ecological research changes to UBC’s Okanagan Campus.
It is awarded to someone who has developed and integrated sustainable practices into their research or teaching, environmental stewardship in the scientific community and has shown a history of community engagement.
