Chief librarian search committee formed

September 30, 2013

Input requested from across campus

The selection process is currently underway for the position of Chief Librarian at UBC’s Okanagan campus.

To support the work of the committee input from the campus community is being requested on key opportunities and challenges for the role, as well as the ideal traits and competencies of the successful candidate.

To gather this input, open forum discussions will be held on October 15 and 16.

Tuesday, October 15, 1 to 2 p.m., DVC Boardroom, room ADM101
Led by Miriam Grant, selection committee chair and vice provost and dean of the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Wednesday, October 16, 8 to 9:30 a.m., DVC Boardroom, room ADM101
Led by Melody Burton, deputy university librarian

The campus is also invited to submit confidential feedback in writing to the committee via:
