The Advising & Involvement Centre is hosting an info session on Wednesday that offers students the opportunity to obtain valuable overseas work experience and gain in-depth knowledge of Japanese culture through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program.
This program offers university graduates a one-year opportunity to experience Japan as an assistant language teacher or international relations coordinator through an official Government of Japan program.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Japan recruits candidates from September to November. Selection of participants is announced in April after application screening and interviews. Participants depart for Japan in early August 2014. Graduates and students who will obtain a Bachelor’s Degree by the end of July 2014 may apply.
