Annual week-long series happening all this week
Check out this week’s Thrive events which feature a huge selection of events, workshops and sessions to help the campus community focus on positive mental health.
This evening’s science of happiness talk at the Kelowna Community Theatre will feature psychologist Mark Holder will discuss recent research findings that look at how choices can contribute (and undermine) happiness.
Other highlights of the week include a documentary screening of The Anonymous People this afternoon in ART 103 and two workshops tomorrow that look at mental disorders, bullying, harassment and violence in the workplace.
Whether attending a Thrive event to change your daily routine — or reaching out for help in the face of difficulties — trying something new can help build positive mental health, feel good and achieve goals.
