A man. The moon. A most peculiar love story. Acclaimed physical theatre duo Wonderheads presents a love story that whisks a man to the moon and back.

Featuring larger-than-life masks, fantastical puppetry and a style that has been described as ‘live-action Pixar,’ one wonders – can a man truly love the moon?

The production of Loons has been described by the CBC as “a live cartoon for lovers and dreamers,” and “Genius in both concept and execution” by the Calgary Sun. The production of Loons was originally developed by Kate Braidwood and Andrew Phoenix of Wonderheads Theatre Fantastical, based in Portland, Oregon.

Why not check out this UBC Theatre26 production for yourself. Sponsored by UBC’s Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies
