The Literature Review: From Research to Writing

Working on your literature review? This workshop will get you started, beginning with advice on search strategies, then an introduction to RefWorks, and concluding with an overview of the literature review’s purpose, audience and structure.

Suitable for graduate students from all disciplines.

Using Refworks and Mendeley

Need help organizing your research or literature review? As a follow up to the literature review workshop, this session outlines in detail two digital formats for organizing your references.

Suitable for upper-level undergraduate, graduate students, and faculty from all disciplines.

Setting up Research Alerts and Academic Profiles

Time: 1 to 2 p.m.

The first part of this workshop will offer some hands-on tips to keep current in your research area using technology. The second part will show participants how to create a professional online profile using LinkedIn.

Suitable for upper-level undergraduate students and graduate students from all disciplines.
