Get support for your healthy-living New Year’s resolutions with a wide range of on-campus fitness classes
Have you resolved to get fit in 2014 but don’t know where to start? Try group fitness classes.
To help you keep your New Year’s commitment to yourself and your health, UBC Recreation is offering a great deal: $80 for a semester-long unlimited group fitness pass ($60 for students).
There are more than 20 weekly options for spin, boot camp, Zumba, and yoga sessions — including the newly-added Latin Cardio, Spin and Sculpt, and Zumba Tone. All classes are held in dedicated studios in the new Hangar Fitness Centre.
If you want to try out a few classes before committing to the full semester, drop-in and per-class registrations are also available. Classes fill up on a first come, first served basis.
