Call for proposals: the 10th Annual Learning Conference

January 7, 2014

Learning Conference 2014

Reflecting on Scholarly Approaches

Proposals are now being accepted for the Centre for Teaching and Learning’s annual Learning Conference, being held on May 7 and 8.

This marks the 10th year of the conference, and to celebrate the centre is asking faculty members to share their expertise and experiences to help make this the best conference yet.

The conference will engage participants with questions about student learning through evidence-based practice. Questions such as:

  • How can research inform teaching practices and enhance the student learning experience?
  • How do students learn best?
  • What does the research say about approaches to teaching and learning that are most effective?
  • Which innovations are working well?

All interested individuals or groups are invited to submit proposals for 50 minute sessions. Each session is expected to include an interactive component. Formats may include discussions, roundtables, and presentations.

The deadline for proposal submissions is February 28, 2014. To register or find out more, visit the Centre for Teaching and Learning website.
