The Southern Medical Program (SMP) is official Partners for Life with Canadian Blood Services, and on February 28 they are holding a ‘What’s Your Type?’ event.
Faculty, staff, and students are invited to find out their blood type and learn more about the donation process.
‘What’s Your Type’ takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Centre foyer.
The goal is to supply for over 100 donations from the campus community — either during the SMP group bookings in March, or through individual donations at the Kelowna Blood Donor Clinic (103 – 1865 Dilworth Dr.).
The clinic is open every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., as well as every second Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
