Be Well at Work lunch celebration

February 6, 2014

Employees at UBC’s Okanagan campus are invited to attend the wrap-up celebration of the UBC-Canadian Cancer Society Be Well at Work project that many members of the campus community participated in.

The event includes a presentation by Carolyn Gotay, Canadian Cancer Society Chair in Cancer Primary Prevention and the Principal Investigator of the study, as well as other guest speakers such as Crystal Flaman (Social Entrepreneur and 11x Ironman Triathlete) and Tracey Hawthorn, Work Reintegration and Accommodation Program coordinator.

Come hear the exciting results of the project that UBC Okanagan helped to make a success, as well as take away some tips on how to fit healthy living into your day. A complimentary lunch will be provided.

Date: Thursday, Feb. 27
Time: 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.
Location: University Centre Ballroom, room UNC 200
