Shanti is a Sanskrit word that describes a state of being mentally and spiritually at peace, with enough knowledge and understanding to keep oneself strong in the face of discord or stress.
UBC’s Shanti Yoga Retreat is a two-day retreat offering a uniquely relaxing opportunity to better understand your relationship to stress and start anew.
This weekend retreat will be facilitated by Myriam Webb (MA, RYT). Participation includes yoga sessions for all levels, talks with stress and mindfulness UBC experts, healthy lunches, and restorative yoga with hot stones.
Retreat dates are June 6 to 8 and the early bird registration deadline is May 15.
