Parking on campus continues to be in high demand. City of Kelowna zoning bylaws limit the number of spaces provided on campus, despite a rising number of commuters each year.
Revenues from parking are one of the few areas available for revenue diversification on campus which have been mandated for UBC. They are also an important means of supporting alternative transportation modes.
In order to provide options on campus, on September 1 a modest increase will be applied to our economy lot with greater increases applicable to premium lots.

For those permit holders wishing to switch lots there is no longer a fee to do so.
