The first Okanagan Workshop on Innovation in Language Teaching (OWILT) takes place at UBC’s Okanagan campus on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014.

OWILT brings together scholars to discuss current trends and innovations in language teaching such as flexible and experiential learning, social media, art, and motion. There will be presentations by scholars from the University of Alberta, Mount Royal University, York University and both UBC campuses.
