UBC students to stage Art Party 2014: Metamorphosis on Nov. 28

Art Party 2014: Metamorphosis WHAT: A celebration and showcase of UBC Okanagan student-created artistic work and fundraiser for the UBC Theatre Course Union.
WHERE: Creative and Critical Studies building, UBC Okanagan campus, 1148 Research Road
WHEN: Friday November 28, 6 p.m. to midnight
ADMISSION: $10 student/senior, $15 adult

UBC Okanagan’s Theatre Course Union, in collaboration with the Visual Arts and Creative Writing Course Unions, present ART PARTY 2014 METAMORPHOSIS, an annual event celebrating and showcasing student-created artistic work.

The event takes place Friday, November 28, 6 p.m. to midnight, at the Creative and Critical Studies building, UBC Okanagan campus, 1148 Research Road. Admission is $10 for students and seniors, $15 for adults.

Designed to provide a professional atmosphere for emerging student artists to share their work, Art Party features visual artwork, live performances, spoken word, new media, and live music from sunset onwards. This event also serves as an annual fundraiser for the Theatre Course Union which supports UBC’s Interdisciplinary Performance students in their independent artistic endeavours. Come to UBC’s Okanagan campus and enjoy food, drink, and the inspiring work of eminent emerging young artists.

NOTE: This is a licensed event, but all ages are welcome. Two pieces of ID are required for 19+ attendees intending to purchase alcohol.
