The UBC Southern Medical Program is teaming up with the Kelowna Shoe Bank (www.soles4soulscanada.com) this holiday season to help wear out poverty.
All sizes and styles are needed: runners, dress shoes, pumps, flats, boots, boat shoes, sandals and flip flops.
Needy individuals in the Okanagan, nearby provinces or developing countries will appreciatively fill your old shoes.
Please place your donated footwear in the designated Kelowna Shoe Bank bins in the Reichwald Health Sciences Centre building. Pickup day is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 19.
