Campus Life is seeking faculty and staff recommendations for student peer mentors in a few specific academic areas: Engineering, Creative and Critical Studies, and Arts.
The Peer Mentor Program pairs every new-to-UBC student with an upper-year student in the same academic program. Through guidance, role modeling and fun activities, these upper-year peer mentors support the successful transition of our entering class.
If you know a student from one of these areas who would make a great peer mentor, please encourage them to apply or recommend them by emailing Laura Prada, first-year services coordinator, at laura.pradasilva@ubc.ca
