UBC Okanagan is now home to the BC Interior’s only test centre for the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program.
CELPIP was created by UBC as a language proficiency test designated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada for use in the application for permanent residency and Canadian citizenship.
Those interested in taking the CELPIP are now able to choose between Kelowna and Vancouver, giving many BC residents the option to participate in the program much closer to home. Upcoming test dates are on:

The CELPIP test centre was brought to UBC Okanagan by the office of the AVP Students, Finance, International Programs and Services and IT, Media and Classroom Services.
