UBC’s annual early-welcome event takes place on May 14 this year and organizers are calling for the campus community to provide a warm welcome to the newest group of admitted UBC students.
Destination UBC is a weekend-long program at both the Okanagan and Vancouver campuses that’s organized in May before the acceptance offer deadline, so new students can see UBC’s Okanagan campus for themselves before committing to attend in September.
Approximately 450 participants will be on campus from May 13 to 15 for a series of informational and social events that show what student life in the Okanagan is all about.
