International Student Initiative sponsored grant supported diversity in workplaces
In support of intercultural learning and development for our students and community, UBC’s Okanagan campus is piloting a grant program to support co-op employers who value and seek diversity in their organization. The International Student Co-op Hiring Grant is designed to encourage employers to hire international undergraduate students and support students in securing placements in a competitive job market. Employers can apply for a grant of $5,000 toward the student’s salary.
