Consider presenting your research, interests or passions as part of Developing Minds

April 27, 2018

The Student Experience Office is currently recruiting presenters for the summer instalment of Developing Minds.

Developing Minds is a professional development series that’s available at no charge for all students, staff and faculty members. Anyone who is running any kind of workshop is encouraged to contact Developing Minds organizers to help build their audience with the rest of the campus community.

Sessions you can expect over the summer include:

  • QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer Suicide Intervention Training
  • Golf Cart Recertification
  • CPR First Aid
  • Positive Space

To see the list of currently available sessions, bookmark the Developing Minds website. The list of offerings is updated all the time as new presenters and presentations are submitted.

If you are interested in sharing your expertise this summer contact Student Experience Coordinator Robert Giardino, who can help you set-up and publicize your workshop.

The first call for presentation ideas is due by May 7. Presentations can occur at any point this summer and do not have to be fully developed at the time of advertising.

Please share this message with anyone you think can speak to a topic and share it with the wider UBC Okanagan community.
