Donate blood this summer

June 13, 2018

Canadian Blood Services is seeking blood donations from the UBC Okanagan community over the summer break. Consider booking your next appointment at the Kelowna Blood Donor Clinic.

If your department or unit has a group oCanadian Blood Services logof coworkers that would like to donate, Canadian Blood Services can arrange for the Life Bus to pick your group up and return them to campus.

Kelowna Blood Donor Clinic hours

  • Tuesday to Thursday
    11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Fridays
    8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Every other Saturday (next date June 30)
    9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Be sure to register with the UBC Okanagan Partners for Life team and help achieve the campus annual goal of 500 blood donations. Visit www.blood.ca/en/partnersforlife and use ID #UBCO002799 (four letters, six numbers) to register.

To make a group booking or for more info, contact Warren Brock at warren.brock@ubc.ca or 250-807-8601. You can also book online at www.blood.ca or via the GiveBlood app.
