Welcoming our students: Ways to get involved in Create and orientation events

As fall approaches, organizers for Move-In Day and Create are excited to welcome new and returning students to campus through a broad range of orientation activities and events.

As faculty and staff, you all play an important role during this time.

By welcoming incoming students and taking part in orientation events, you support us in helping to create memorable and lasting positive student experiences.

Please join the campus community by getting involved in one or all of these events:

  • August 27 and September 2
    Parent Conference
  • September 2
    Move-in Day
  • September 4
    Create Day

Interact with new-to-UBC Okanagan students and their families, get to know other colleagues on campus and immerse yourself in the experience. Sign up now to offer your support at Move-in Day, Create and the Parent Conferences.

You may also want to spread the word about your program, office or department by participating in the Create New Student Orientation Showcase on September 4. Registration for Showcase closes August 20.
