Payroll deduction parking permits up for renewal at end of October

September 27, 2018

All parking permits purchased via payroll deduction are set to expire on October 31 and Parking Services wants to remind all permit holders the new permits will automatically be issued.

These permits will be for the same lot as the expiring permit. Due to a current lack of available spaces, permit holders are unable to switch to another parking lot until May 2019.

In order to have your permit automatically renewed there cannot be any outstanding violations on your parking account. Payment can be made online or at the Parking Services office.

To check your parking account for any outstanding violations:

  • Visit parking.ok.ubc.ca
  • Click ‘Parking Login’
  • Sign in with your UBC CWL
  • Click ‘Traffic Notices’ at the top of the page

It is strongly recommended that all parking permits holders check their existing parking account to ensure their current vehicle information is up to date. A maximum of five vehicles can be linked to a permit, though only one vehicle can be on campus using it at any given time.

To update your vehicle information

  • Visit parking.ok.ubc.ca
  • Click ‘Parking Login’
  • Sign in with your UBC CWL
  • Click ‘Vehicles’ at the top of the page

Reminder: physical permits are no longer issued at UBC Okanagan. Permits are virtual and all compliance is done through your license plate.

For more information, contact Parking Services at okanagan.parking@ubc.ca or 250-807-8554.
