On September 1, 2019, parking rates will be increasing. The new rates can be viewed online at: parking.ok.ubc.ca/parking-rates/monthly-permit-rates
With these increases, Parking Services reminds faculty and staff that now is the time to change parking lots if you are considering doing so.
Lot changes are permitted until July 19. Parking Services will not be able to exchange permits again until September 17, 2019 — after which the ability to switch will be based on availability.
Payroll permit renewals
All payroll permits for faculty and staff expire on October 31, 2020. Since the permits are now virtual there is nothing permit holders need to do. New permits will automatically be renewed for the same lot as current permits.
Payroll deduction continues until Parking Services is notified of any changes. Online forms are available for Payroll Deduction Application, Exchange or Cancellation.

Non-payroll deduction permits
If you are a staff or faculty member who is not on a payroll deduction for parking and require a parking permit for the 2019/20 academic year, permits will be available for purchase online starting August 1 at 9 a.m.

Reminder: Parking daily after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends
With your permit or full day parking pass, you can park in any lot (excluding M and R) on weekdays after 4:30 p.m., and all day on weekends.
