A message from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the UBCO Persian Club, I would like to invite the UBC Okanagan community to attend a memorial to commemorate the lives of the 176 passengers lost in the tragic crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 in Iran on January 7, 2020. Among those who died were four members of the UBC community, as noted in President Ono’s letter to the community.
