The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC Flags at UBC Okanagan and the Canada flag (at Flagpole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) on the UBC Vancouver Campus will be lowered on Thursday, March 11, 2021, for the National Day of Observance to acknowledge the one-year anniversary of the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 a pandemic and to commemorate the people who lost their lives and the significant impacts of COVID-19.
