The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC Flags at UBC Okanagan and the Canada flag (at Flagpole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC Flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) on the UBC Vancouver Campus are lowered today in remembrance of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away on April 9, 2021. The flags will be lowered from now until sunset on the day of the funeral and memorial service (to be determined).
