The Canada, BC, Okanagan Nation Alliance and UBC flags at UBC Okanagan and the Canada flag (at Flagpole Plaza) and the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building) on the UBC Vancouver campus are lowered on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, to acknowledge the five-year anniversary of the Overdose Crisis in BC being declared a Public Health Emergency and in memory of all the British Columbians whose lives have been lost due to this crisis.
