Flags on UBC’s Okanagan campus will be lowered on Friday, September 17, 2021 in memory of Elder Jessie Nyberg, LLD, who passed away on September 3. Dr. Nyberg had been an Elder Advisor and community research liaison in the Faculty of Health and Social Development, and earlier in 2021 she received an honorary degree from the Okanagan campus. Our sincere condolences to Dr. Nyberg’s family, friends and colleagues.
