UBC Okanagan is reminding students, faculty and staff of the alternate ways to get to campus given a likely transit strike tentatively scheduled to begin Wednesday, October 5, in Kelowna.
In the event of a strike, the university will operate as normal. Classes will proceed, and if transit service halts, we’ve asked that instructors exercise leniency with students who are struggling to get to campus. Faculty and staff will be expected to attend work on their regular schedules. If you require any support, please contact your manager or HR adviser for your portfolio.
