Dr. Marie Tarrant named Dean of the Faculty of Health and Social Development

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that the UBC Board of Governors has approved the appointment of Dr. Marie Tarrant as Dean, Faculty of Health and Social Development (FHSD), for a five-year term, commencing January 1, 2023. Dr. Tarrant has served as dean pro tem of FHSD since January 1, 2022. Prior to this, she was the Director of the UBC Okanagan School of Nursing from 2016 to 2021.
