Flags at UBC Okanagan will be lowered on Friday, September 29, 2023, in memory of Alex Thompson, a fourth-year student in the nursing program, who passed away on September 13 on the Needle Peak Hiking Trail in the Coquihalla Summit. Our sincere condolences to Alex’s family, friends and colleagues.
