The open house runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in the Fine Arts gallery and features a diverse mix of creative works in the areas of hybrid-genre, pop culture prints and paintings, new eco-poetry, cross cultural magical realism, sound visualization, and osteo-poetics.
In addition to displaying their art, graduate students will share the creative practices and processes behind their projects. The artists will develop new work at the exhibition, and hope to engage the public in discussions.
Six Stories: Graduate Student Open House features a sound visualization live performance by visual artist Rosa Park and musician Karen Shepherd on Friday, Nov. 16 from 3:30 to 4 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public.
