Welcoming our students: Ways to get involved in Create and orientation events

As fall approaches, Create organizers are excited to begin preparing to welcome our new and returning students to campus through a broad range of orientation activities and events.

As faculty and staff, you all play an important role during this time. By welcoming incoming students and taking part in orientation events, you support us in helping to create memorable and lasting positive student experiences.

Join the campus community by getting involved in Create (Tuesday, September 5) and Parent Conference (Monday, August 28, and Sunday, September 3)—interact with new-to-UBC Okanagan students and their families, get to know other colleagues on campus and immerse yourself in the experience. Sign up now to offer your support at Create and the Parent Conferences.

You may also want to spread the word about your program, office or department by participating in Showcase at Create New Student Orientation on September 5.  Registration for Showcase closes August 15.
