New book: Q Skills for Success Reading and Writing 5

October 19, 2011

Q Skills for Success Reading and Writing 5Scott Roy Douglas, assistant professor in the Faculty of Education, has co-authored a new six-level English Assistance Program book for college and university students.

Q Skills for Success Reading and Writing 5 looks to connect critical thinking, language skills, and student learning outcomes to learning English. The book’s question-centred approach provides a unique critical thinking framework for each unit which helps develop key cognitive skills such as analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating.

In the new book, Douglas created chapters one, five, seven, eight and nine.
