Chris Gorman, director in the Faculty of Management, has been elected to the Board of Education for the Central Okanagan’s School District 23.
Gorman will serve as one of seven trustees, governing the district’s implementation of provincial and local education programs, school finance and facilities, student access and achievement, and other responsibilities under B.C.’s School Act.
The inaugural meeting of the new Board of Education is Dec. 7.
