Visionary entrepreneur and humanitarian Joelle Berdugo “Joey” Adler will be speaking at UBC’s Okanagan campus on February 29 as part of this year’s Global Citizen Week Kelowna.
Adler founded the ONEXONE Foundation in 2005 with the goal to help individuals make positive changes in the lives of others, one by one.
The event starts at 7 p.m. in room ASC140 of the Arts and Sciences II building. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Tickets are on sale via ticketweb.ca ($5 students, $10 faculty and staff). Students can also purchase tickets in the Advising and Involvement Centre (room UNC207) starting on February 1.
