Members of the campus community might have noticed a new set of coloured jackets emerging from the Campus Security offices in recent weeks.
The Commissionaires have been replaced by Securiguard as the security contractor for the next five years at UBC’s Okanagan campus. The stark yellow of the Securiguard jackets are a significant change from the soft blue of the Commissionaires, but their protective roles and duties will remain the same.
