Info session: Innovations in Teaching and Learning Research Grant

Teaching portfolios

This workshop will provide an opportunity to learn more about the purpose and contents of a teaching portfolio.

Time: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Intro to collective agreements

This session is an introduction to basic Human Resources practices, terms, and collective agreement interpretation regarding various staff appointments.

This session will also involve working through some sample case studies to help staff apply these principles in practice in their day to day work.

Topics will include recruitment process such as interview requirements, selection, hiring and posting procedures, as well as the significance of seniority.
