Here are some professional development workshops for faculty and staff at UBC’s Okanagan campus over the next few weeks:
Sleep: the key to health
Dr. Ron Cridland from the Kelowna Sleep Clinic will be on campus on April 25 to give a workshop about the importance of sleep.
Cridland graduated from the University of Toronto medical school in 1982, and was certified with the Canadian College of Family Physicians in 1984. After a number of years of practicing health promotion he became aware that poor sleep was often the limiting factor to obtaining optimum health. Consequently, he became interested in sleep disorders medicine.
