Applications are now open for faculty members interested in leading their own Group Study Program for the summer of 2014
Last summer the first Group Study Program at UBC’s Okanagan campus was introduced, with two faculty members leading 20 students for a six week, six credit session to Romania and Bulgaria.
Growing interest in the past year has result in four different groups heading overseas this summer. Five Okanagan campus faculty members will be teaching a total of 72 UBC students this summer in the United Kingdom, Japan, Portugal and Tanzania.
Any faculty member interested in taking students on an international learning expedition next summer can find out more by visiting the Go Global website or contacting Go Global Coordinator Dana Lowton.
