How to stay out of the headlines: conflict of interest at UBC

Have questions about UBC’s policies on conflict of interest? Need to know more about conflict of interest? Manage staff?

At these short sessions — Christine Hjorleifson, UBC’s conflict of interest administrator — will give staff and faculty an important foundation in understanding conflict of interest scenarios at UBC.

Helping your unit head: your role as the tenure and promotion process guardian

Want a better understanding of supporting the tenure and promotion process? This course on October 17 is designed provide understanding and enhance the ability to support deans or unit heads.

Central Booking Office Lunch and Learn

Bring a lunch and learn more about the Central Booking Office (CBO) and its services on October 25.

At this Lunch and Learn session the CBO will cover who is eligible to make a request with the CBO, what the timelines are, what space is chargeable and when, and much more.
