Support the Bake Sale and Silent Auction on Nov. 19
This year’s United Way Bake Sale and Silent Auction is being held on November 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fipke Centre foyer. This annual event is a delicious and fun way to give to the Okanagan campus’ 2013 United Way campaign.
Choose from a variety of baked goods and bid on a variety of silent auction items that make for excellent holiday gifts. Advance viewing is available at: unitedway.ok.ubc.ca.
Silent auction bids close on at 12:45 p.m., and the winning bids are announced at 12:50 p.m.
As of October 18, the Okanagan campus’ campaign has raised $21,258 towards the $55,000 goal. Anyone interested in getting involved, donating or planning their own event, contact the campaign chair, Sarah Stang at 250-807-9606.
