Help Adopt a Clinic on September 20

Canadian Blood ServicesThe UBC Okanagan Partners for Life Team is joining Canadian Blood Services for the annual Interior Drive for Life Kelowna vs. Prince George challenge in September and October.

The challenge runs from September 5 until October 30, 2014. Organizers are looking to fill 40 appointments for the Adopt a Clinic event on Saturday, September 20.

To book an appointment for the Adopt a Clinic date, contact Partners for Life representative Warren Brock at warren.brock@ubc.ca or 250-807-8601.

More Drive for Life options

You can also book an appointment with the Kelowna Blood Donor Clinic, which is open every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. as well as two Saturdays per month from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Kelowna Blood Donor Clinic is located at 103 – 1865 Dilworth Drive. You can register online with the UBC Okanagan Partners for Life team at www.blood.ca/partnersforlife. The partnership ID number is UBCO002799.

Canadian Blood Services will also be hosting an on-campus What’s Your Type? event on September 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Fipke foyer.

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to find out their blood type and learn more about the donation process. Attendees can also sign up for the Adopt a Clinic event.
