Volunteers needed for Canadian Student Leadership Conference

UBC is thrilled to host the Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC) for the afternoon of September 25.

The CSLC provides high school student leaders from across the country with an invaluable opportunity to develop leadership tools and skills to make a difference in their schools and communities.

The conference will bring nearly 1,000 high school students and 250 educators from across Canada to Kelowna from September 23 to 27.

Volunteers needed

UBC student leaders are encouraged to volunteer as CSLC Hosts, to implement the conference and welcome conference delegates.

Those interested in participating are asked to register to volunteer by September 19.

Volunteer registration is available online at: www.ubc.ca/okanagan/students/campuslife/cslc2014.

Campus involvement 

The entire campus community is invited join conference organizers in creating a welcoming environment for the delegates on September 25.
