Fall 2014 BEN schedule released

Have you experienced the BENefits?

Behaviour change * Exercise * Nutrition — BEN is the healthy weight and lifestyle program for faculty and staff at UBC Okanagan.

Each week BEN alternates between an exercise-focused class and a theory class.

Educational handouts and healthy snacks and recipes will be part of the theory classes. An underlying focus will be on removing barriers to healthy behaviour change, discussion and support.

BEN organizers will also run a healthy lifestyle challenge during fall term.

The program runs every Wednesday at 12 noon in room LIB 304. Drop-ins are always welcome.

To register for the BEN program, visit the Human Resources site.

Individual consulting sessions are available, as well as weekly weigh-ins.
