Project GROW card sales on now

December 2, 2014

Follow Project GROW on the go in Ghana

Project GROW card sales are on sale now in the Fipke Foyer weekdays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. until December 16.

This year’s Project GROW cards go to support purchasing important supplies for families in rural Ghana. The fundraising efforts supply goats, donkeys, carts and school lunch programs to the families.

This year will also feature fundraising efforts that will go toward publishing 3,500 copies of Ghana Folk Tales to distribute throughout schools and villages in the Nabdam District of northern Ghana. The Folk Tales were produced by Nabit children in the village of Bolgatanga, in the Upper East Region of Ghana, with the help of Faculty of Education teacher candidates.

Purchase a card, or purchase your own copy of the book and help increase access to culturally relevant reading material for the communities of Project GROW.
