Distinguished medical researcher presents at Celebrate Research event
Aurin Tricarboxylic Acid: If predictions are correct, it may become the most widespread drug ever developed.
Dr. Patrick McGeer — physician, professor and medical researcher — has dedicated his life to finding the right biochemical to target the amyloid plaques that are responsible for causing Alzheimer’s. McGeer screened many thousands of compounds to find Aurin Tricarboxylic Acid.
On March 2, McGeer’s Maintain your Brain Health discussion will delve into Aurin Tricarboxylic Acid and the factors that may leave your brain vulnerable to degenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Date: Monday, March 2, 2015
Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Mary Irwin Theatre, Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave.
