Healthy Cities Partnership seeks input

April 27, 2015

UBC Okanagan’s Okanagan Sustainability Institute has partnered with the City of Kelowna to study resident attitudes towards growth in Kelowna.

Surveys will be appearing in 3,000 Kelowna residents’ mailboxes randomly and anonymously selected. The purpose of the survey is to identify the factors that affect resident attitudes towards increased residential housing density in their neighborhood and across Kelowna.

The online survey will take 10 minutes to complete and will allow researchers from UBC Okanagan and City of Kelowna policy and planning staff to understand residents’ attitudes about important matters of housing and growth in Kelowna. The deadline to complete the survey is May 15, 2015.

Any questions regarding this survey can be directed to Assist. Prof. Ross Hickey at 250-807-8653 or ross.hickey@ubc.ca.
