Your involvement can help career-ready grads

August 31, 2015

The Advising & Involvement Centre (AIC) is looking to develop and build awareness for a new, integrated series of career-focused programs that help our career-ready graduates find success.

AIC staff is interested in collaborating with members of the campus community who currently offer any career or experience-building programs. Topics can include anything from exploring career options or developing a network of contacts in your field, to experiential opportunities and improving resumes, interviews and job search strategies.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in one or all of the collaborative sessions offered by the AIC in September.

  • Tuesday, Sept. 8, 3 to 4 p.m., UNC321
  • Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2 to 3 p.m., UNC321
  • Friday, Sept. 25, 12 noon to 1 p.m., UNC208
  • Wednesday, Sept. 30, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., UNC208

Share what your program offers students as well as what you hear students want in career-focused programs.

To find out more, email jessica.mueller@ubc.ca or robin.whittall@ubc.ca. Feedback by email is also encouraged if you are unable to attend in person.
